Gaddo is a modern expression of that legacy, created by Gaddo della Gherardesca in partnership with Prosit Group to showcase the character of this celebrated coastal region. The 2022 Bolgheri Rosso is a Bordeaux-inspired blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot. Aromas of blackberry and cherry mingle with balsamic and spicy notes, leading to a rich, textured palate with dense yet polished tannins, vibrant freshness, and a long, savory finish. Aged partly in second-use French oak, it gains subtle spice and complexity while retaining the freshness of Bolgheri fruit.
